Roberts, Sanders re-elected to Bell Town Council

Thirty-two percent of the registered voters within the Town of Bell cast a ballot last week to re-elect Iris Roberts and C. Ray Sanders to the Bell Town Council. In the Town Council Group 1 race, Roberts received 60 votes, which far exceeded her opponents, Traci Bryan with 23 votes and B.J.Light who received 11 votes.
Incumbent C. Ray Sanders took the Town Council Group 2 race with 69 votes over Sheila L. Royster, who received 28 votes.
According to Supervisor of Elections Connie Sanchez, Iris Roberts was first elected in 1989 to the Bell Town Council. Sanders has served on the council two terms, Sanchez said.
