A Trenton man was arrested on Monday after reportedly stealing a radiator from a semi-truck and selling it at a local recycling center.
Steve D. Harry, 32, of 622 NE 4th Street, has been charged with burglary and grand theft and is now being held in the Gilchrist County Jail.
According to the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office, Harry waited until Gilchrist Trucking Company closed last Tuesday afternoon before climbing a perimeter fence and stealing a radiator and air cooler from a Peterbilt semi parked inside the fence.
Harry later sold the items at a local recycling business, explained Investigator Edwin Jenkins of the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office. Harry’s bond has been set at $20,000.
