An RV camper was being used as a marijuana grow house in north Gilchrist County, housing some 188 cannabis plants.
Just two days before Thanksgiving, investigators from the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office raided the home of Lance Fox, which is located at 1349 NE County Road 138.
Fox was arrested and charged with Cultivation of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after investigators discovered the marijuana plants.

An RV camper on Fox’s property had 173 cannabis plants and 15 cloned cannabis plants growing inside.
The plants were seized along with grow lights, florescent lights, fans, automatic timers, a digital scale, a heater, marijuana growing magazines and DVDs.
When investigators searched Fox’s home they found a plastic storage bag with cannabis seeds inside.
In all, the marijuana plants seized were valued at $173,000.
By Tuesday morning, Fox had posted a $25,000 bond and been released from the Gilchrist County Jail.
