A 60-year-old man, who lives in north Gilchrist County, was arrested on Friday after investigators from the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office found a marijuana grow house on his property.
Troy Hubert O’Neail, of 6610 NE 55th Street, High Springs, is being held in the Gilchrist County Jail on charges of Cultivation of Cannabis, Possession of More Than 20 Grams of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Drug Dwelling.
While executing a search warrant on O’Neail’s property last Wednesday, investigators found a shed on the property with 32 marijuana plants growing inside.

Thirty-three cloned marijuana plants that were cut from the other marijuana plants were also found, along with grow lights, florescent lights, fans, an air conditioner window unit, automatic timers and heaters.
During a search of O’Neail’s home, additional marijuana stored inside glass canning jars was seized. Storage bags containing marijuana and a garbage bag half filled with marijuana were also discovered. Other items seized from the residence included a digital scale, rolling papers and smoking pipes.
According to Investigator Edwin Jenkins of the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office, the total weight of marijuana seized was 2.05 pounds.
O’Neail is being held on a $20,000 bond.
