Local farmer presented with Florida Farm Bureau’s Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award

Gilchrist County Farm Bureau President Roy Wilson has received Florida Farm Bureau’s 2011 Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award. Wilson accepted his award at the state organization’s annual meeting held at The Peabody Hotel in Orlando on October 7.
The highest honor bestowed by the organization, the Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award recognizes a lifetime of service on behalf of Farm Bureau and Florida agriculture.
Wilson has previously served on the Florida Farm Bureau state board of directors.
