Sexual predator moves to Fanning Springs

The Levy County Sheriff’s Office would like to notify the community that a registered sexual predator has moved to Fanning Springs.
John Henry McGhan, AKA John Boy McGhan, has moved to 17210 NW US Hwy. 19 in Fanning Springs. The 42-year-old white male was convicted in 1999 for lewd and lascivious molestation on a child. McGhan was living in Michigan and has recently moved to Fanning Springs.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement website, McGhan is one of nine sexual offenders living in Fanning Springs. He is one of two deemed a sexual predator.
