Sexual predator moves to Fanning Springs

The Levy County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform citizens that a registered sexual predator has moved to Fanning Springs.
David Darius Hale, 52, had been living in Archer before moving to Fanning Springs on Monday. According to the Levy County Sheriff’s Office, Hale is now living at 17217 NW Hwy. 19 Room #3 in Fanning Springs.
Hale was convicted in 2005 for lewd and lascivious molestation of a child less than 12 years of age.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Sexual Offenders and Predators webpage, there are now 10 registered sexual offenders living in Fanning Springs.
