Sexual predator moves to 83rd Court

The Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office would like to notify citizens that a registered sexual predator is now residing in Gilchrist County.
Steven Michael Alex, 38, has moved in with his parents, who reside at 7758 SE 83rd Court, Newberry.
Alex is 6’2” with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs 187 pounds.
Alex was convicted of Sexual Battery on a child by person in custodial authority, F.S. 794.011/8(b).
