bids fond farewell

Trenton City Manager Jered Ottenwess accepted a plaque from Mayor Glen Thigpen last Thursday during a luncheon held in Ottenwess’ honor. Representing the Trenton City Council and the employees of the City of Trenton, Mayor Thigpen thanked Ottenwess for his service to the municipality. “We thank you for the outstanding job you have done, and for leaving the City of Trenton in better condition than it was when you arrived,” Mayor Thigpen said. The Michigan native recently accepted a position as city manager for the city of Ishpeming, Michigan. Trenton city officials are currently preparing to interview candidates for the city manager’s job.
