Congratulations to the Gilchrist County senior football players who were selected to participate in the All-Star Football Game on Saturday, January 15.

The 2010-2011 All-Star Football Players from Gilchrist County are #30--Corbyn Pugh (THS), #35--Garth Frier (BHS), #81--Caleb Smith (THS), #60--Bradley Teckenbrock (BHS), #31--Brock Stone (THS), and #42--Bradley Denham (BHS).

Players for this team were selected from the following high schools:  Baker, Bell, Bradford, Branford, Chiefland, Columbia, Dixie, Ft. White, Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, Trenton and Union.
The schools were divided into the West team (head coached by Mike Coe of Madison County HS) and the East team (head coached by Steve Howard of Union County HS). 
Both teams played a very physical game, but the East team came out victorious.
Thank you to the many fans that came out to cheer our boys on!  Gilchrist County…we can be very proud of those players from Bell High School and Trenton High School who represented our schools with character and integrity!
