Bell Council and Clerk sworn-in Thursday night

The Bell Town Council opened their first meeting of the new year Thursday evening as Town Attorney Duke Lang gave three councilmen, the mayor, and the city clerk the Oath of Office.

Town Attorney Duke Lang, and Town Council member Hugh Sanders.

Lang took a few moments in the beginning of the meeting to individually give the Oath of Office to each of the elected officials of the Town of Bell.
Bell Mayor Tommy Brown was returned to the Bell Town Council following several years of not serving the people of Bell.
Mayor Brown will become involved in many of the monthly activities in the Town of Bell. He will also take care of the duties involving the Christmas celebration.
The Bell Town Council re-elected Mrs. Iris Roberts again to serve as the chairperson of the council. Ray Sanders was elected to serve as the Vice-chairman of the board.
